High Speed Disperser - Laboratory Model
Dispersers
Product Overview
The Mixmaster High-Speed Disperser – Laboratory Model is a compact and versatile mixer designed for research, development, and small-scale batch testing. It provides the same powerful dispersion performance as production models but in a convenient, laboratory-friendly size, making it ideal for formulation trials, color matching, viscosity testing, and pilot-scale sample preparation across industries such as paints, coatings, inks, adhesives, chemicals, and cosmetics.
This laboratory model features a vertically mounted high-shear Cowl disc blade driven at variable speeds up to 18–22 m/s tip speed, allowing precise control over dispersion quality. The rotating blade creates a strong vortex within the vessel, efficiently drawing in materials and breaking down agglomerates to produce a uniform and finely dispersed mixture.
The Mixmaster Laboratory Model LDX-100 operates within a speed range of 950–1450 RPM and is constructed from stainless steel, ensuring excellent durability, easy cleaning, and corrosion resistance. It operates on a 230V, single-phase, 50/60 Hz power supply, making it suitable for laboratory environments and small pilot setups.
Designed for viscosities up to 50,000 centipoise, the Lab Model offers easy operation, quick batch processing, and reproducible results. Its compact, portable, and user-friendly design makes it the perfect tool for process optimization, product development, and scaling up formulations from laboratory to full production.
